Premise

The pace of IT is relentless. We have to keep ourselves updated all the time. IT knowledge waits for no man. This means regardless of status: from the leaders of industries to the man in the street, IT knowledge today is a must or we go the ways of the dinosaurs.

Description

This workshop helps a group of seniors move from the time they started work until today - where the IT they initially experienced is completely mind-blowing in today's IT advancement. The lessons learned are meant to trigger the senior participants' desire to keep themselves updated or else be left behind.

Key Learnings

  • Learn how to operate the Learning Circle site by themselves so that they can have access to the site after the workshop.

  • Search appropriate sites on the Internet for answers by themselves.

  • Be excited, self-directed learners by contributing regularly to their personal group site (learning circle) long after the class has ended.
